Buying gifts is difficult for many of us. Birthday, anniversary, and especially Valentine's Day gifts are tough.

Forget a gift, or seem like you grabbed something at the last minute, or something inappropriate or unfeeling or unromantic etc. etc. and you're  in tough shape.

The problem is that men and women think very different. As a man who has screwed up more presents than imaginable, I think I've got this figured out pretty well by now. Not perfectly, there is no perfect, but hopefully this advice will help you out or at least keep you out of trouble!

Flowers are the quintessential Valentine's Day gift for her, because she, almost any she, like flowers.

I like having flowers delivered - it makes a big impact. Even if you ordered them a mere few hours before because you almost forgot!

Traditional Red Roses work very very well, and have for decades if not longer. They are very traditional and you really can't go wrong with roses.

You can even chose them in wild colors like blue or green!

Chocolate is another traditional romantic valentines day gift. A great choice is roses and chocolate.

Remember you probably can't buy a $10 bouquet from the grocery shop and expect to make an impression. After all, she goes to the grocery store too.
